Personal Bio
I have enjoyed working in the mental health field for more than a decade. Over the years, I have developed a straight forward style which involves compassion, humor, and understanding. I am often asked why I chose the field of mental health. I truly enjoy the challenge of breaking apart the complexities of an individual, couple, or family, and helping each person gain the confidence to rebuild.
Throughout my career I have worked with at-risk youth, early-release missionaries, pornography addiction, depression, behavioral issues, anger management, and many other challenging issues. I have specialized in treating anxiety and related disorders.
It is my goal to provide my clients with effective skills to assist not only during their time in therapy, but for their lifetime. I will teach you evidence based practices to help you take control of your life and increase enjoyment in the things you adore. Take the next step in your life and commit to building happiness for yourself and with the ones you love.

Personal Bio
My passion for helping others navigate life’s obstacles is what brought me to the field of social work. Therapy is more than laying on a sofa and talking about your childhood as your therapist takes copious amounts of notes. It’s a cooperative practice where we work together to address what is preventing you from enjoying all that life has to offer.
As your therapist, I am the “guide on the side” as we navigate the turbulent waters of what is causing distress. As we engage in therapeutic sessions, I’ll use evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), hope-theory, and a strengths-based approach as we build a roadmap for treatment.
Making the decision to engage in therapy is an act of bravery and a willingness to lean into vulnerability. It is my goal to make each individual feel seen and understood and to acknowledge the life experiences that brought them to therapy. Together, we’ll utilize evidence-based practices to develop skills needed to overcome obstacles and ensure you’re able to apply these skills outside of therapy and throughout your life.
