Salt City Mental Health is hiring a licensed clinician for evening and weekend hours.
Job Description: Salt City Mental Health is a general practice and is looking to hire a mental health therapist who has a fun, laid back personality, and is looking to join an exciting team. We are looking for a licensed therapist who specializes in anxiety and trauma. For anxiety treatment, applicants should be well versed in CBT, DBT, and ERP. For the treatment of trauma, TF-CBT and/or EMDR training is required. Salt City Mental Health will provide office space, help build clientele, and provide billing services.
Job Type: This is a contract position and will only work with self-pay clients. The position is for evening and weekends with a preferred minimum of 20 hours per week. Applicants are not required to leave their current practice to work at Salt City Mental Health.
Responsibilities: Must be able to evaluate a clients mental health and create specific treatments with an understanding of the individuality of clients. A caring and compassionate demeanor is critical to this position. Overall success as a therapist at Salt City Mental Health depends on the clinicians ability to establish client trust and facilitate dynamic and engaging individual/couples/family therapy sessions.
Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based methods of treatment
Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy
Willingness to work with youth
Client services provided to include initial assessments, evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, and crisis de-escalation
Documentation of all services and utilization of appropriate billing codes using our electronic health record system within 24 hours of appointment
Provide coordination of care as needed within service spectrum
Punctuation is a must. All candidates would be expected to follow a set schedule with minimal missed days. All candidates would be expected to provide clients with a 24 hour cancellation notice or to notify clients of emergency absences before the session begins.
Support credentialing, billing, scheduling and marketing efforts by promptly providing information as needed and following company procedures
Requirements:
Education - Master’s degree or higher in mental health from an accredited college or university
Unlicensed or Fully Licensed (years of experience are negotiable)
Prefered minimum 20 hours per week
Proof of professional license, current state license, and liability insurance
